Pre-K1 Ms. Hong

I joined PS120Q in 2016. Before joining PS120Q, I worked for 8 years as a bilingual special education teacher at YAI/NYL Clearview School. I graduated from St. John’s University with a Master’s degree in TESOL Education and earned my second teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time at home with my girls, Gabriella (13) and Makayla (10). I also love trying new recipes and making new dishes for my family!

Pre-K2 Ms. Traina

I’m so excited to be joining the PS 120Q school community this year! I grew up on Long Island and earned my degree from St. Joseph’s University.

I began my career in early childhood education in 2008 and have had the joy of teaching both preschool and first grade throughout my career. I’m passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in encouraging children to be kind, respectful, confident, and compassionate learners, while creating a warm, welcoming classroom community where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn.

Outside of the classroom, I love cooking, crafting, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I am happily married and a proud mom of three children. Our family also includes our lovable dog, Murray!

Pre-K3, Ms. Miros-Bardossas

I was born in New Jersey, but my family originally came from Greece. I grew up in Astoria, and now live in Fresh Meadows in Queens. I spent 10 years teaching first grade in Brooklyn before joining the PS 120 family in 2013. I am a proud graduate of CUNY Hunter College where I got my Bachelor's Degree. I went on to get a Masters in Education from Pace University and another Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Adelphi University.
