Visual Arts, Mrs. Rose

Growing up on the east end of Long Island made me realize that as an artist, I wanted to be closer to creativity and culture. New York City is one of the most culturally rich places in the world and a mecca for the arts. I've been living and working in New York City since I was 22 years old while getting a masters in art education at CUNY Queens College. I have been teaching visual arts for over a decade and I love the student population at PS 120 where children are eager to learn, create and problem solve. On my free time, I love to create fine art, design stationery and work on freelance graphic design projects. I am most versatile in painting and drawing, but I also love photography and ceramics. Besides teaching visual art, I am certified to teach yoga, I am living foods certified and I'm able to perform reiki as well. I also have a strong interest in cinema, aromatherapy, vegan living, and fashion.

ENL/Art, Ms. Marcinkowski

I was born and raised in Queens and I'm currently living in Brooklyn. I attended St. John's University in Queens. In the summer of 2004, I studied abroad in Rome, Italy. As soon as I completed my undergraduate degree in 2005, I became a General Education Teacher in the New York City Public School system. I obtained a Masters Degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language) and became an ENL (English as a New Language) teacher in 2012. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working in three amazing schools in Queens and I'm proud to say that P.S. 120 is now my "home. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, especially my niece Hannah. I love to travel! I've visited many countries including China, Mexico, India, Italy, France, and Colombia. My hobbies include visiting museums and exercising.
