301, Ms. Manolios

I was born in Queens, raised in Brooklyn and now living in Long Island. I’ve spent 3 years working in private school in Brooklyn, 16 years in District 30 and joined the P.S. 120 community in 2012. I graduated from CUNY-Brooklyn College with a BA in Bilingual Elementary Education and an MS in Elementary Education in Mathematics. In my spare time, I love traveling with my family, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, dancing and taking tons of pictures. I have two children, Steven and Demi.

I was born far out on Long Island, but am proud to say I grew up in Flushing, Queens. I have been teaching for more than 15 years and most of those years have been spent as a 4th Grade Teacher. I received my graduate degree from Fordham University, Lincoln Center. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, my dog Willow, following elite gymnastics, going to pilates classes, and quilting.

I grew on the south shore of Nassau County, but now live in Queens. During that time, I attended both Long Island University: C. W. Post and received my masters at Hofstra University. I have been teaching at PS 120 since 2011 and I am happy with my growth here. I am most happy that I found my passion here, which is teaching 5th grade science. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, in particular my two children, seeing new places through vacations, and reading historical nonfiction books.

304, Mr. Ng

Although I am a transplant from Seattle, Washington, I have lived in New York for most of my life. I attended P.S. 120 for a few years, and returned as a teacher in 1997. My experience at P.S. 120 includes teaching both the 4th and 5th grade. I am a graduate of St. John's University, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and Long Island University, where I earned my Master's Degree in TESOL. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling to new places. My hobbies include trying new foods and baseball.
