This week we are sharing the Student Profile for our 5th Grade Techie Rachel! Before each student was selected to join Tech Squad, they each wrote and told us the reasons why they love tech and fixing/troubleshooting computers.

Favorite Tech: “I love playing video games on my dad’s computer”

Why do you want to be in the Tech Squad?

“ I am pretty good at computer skills. I can connect to a Wi-fi connection. For example I can connect my computer to my home’s Wi-f network and also other devices. Besides that, I want to learn how to plug in all the cables to a computer. For instance, there might be a cable unplugged and I might be confused where it belongs. Also, I want to know how to set-up a printer.

What kind of technology have you used before?

“I know how to use and Apple computer and a Window computer. In fact, I can code from Google CS First.”

What’s the most important thing you want to learn to fix?

“I don’t know how to fix a computer virus and would love to remove a virus from a computer.”
